West Allis, WI- Due to unseasonably cool temperatures, frigid wind chills in the 30’s and a mixed forecast of damp conditions off and on, officials have decided to cancel tonight’s (Tuesday May 21, 2019) Milwaukee Mile Street Drags at State Fair Park after concluding that the weather would not provide favorable track conditions for a safe event. “We want this to be a fun event for everyone” stated event promoter Charles Deery. “Weather like this is always a tough call, but with the cold and the damp, we want everyone to be safe and to have fun, tonight was unlikely to be.” Concluded Deery. The next scheduled Milwaukee Mile Street Drags will be the first ever Saturday night edition, on Saturday June 15 at the famed facility. Gates will open at 5pm with trial runs at 6pm, brackets will begin at 7pm in June.
